Start with one short entry
DiaryThreads keeps the first step small: free ordinary entries start with up to 140 characters, while Premium entries can continue beyond that boundary. Long-form Articles remain a separate free writing shape.
Replies continue an existing thought. Quotes place an older entry beside a new one, so a private timeline can grow without becoming a public feed.
Your writing starts on your device
The app has no app account or developer-hosted diary server. Version 1.1 saves content locally first on every supported platform, and verified Premium users can turn on private iCloud sync for eligible diary data.

Version 1.1 adds Premium ordinary entries beyond 140 characters and Premium file attachments for entries and Articles, while existing files remain accessible after Premium expires.
Topics, Premium handwriting, free long-form Articles, on-device emotion suggestions, Emotion Trajectory, and private iCloud continuity are available across their documented platform boundaries.
Bring older writing with you
Premium Beta import works locally with common text and document formats, structured files, PDF text or OCR, and recognized X, Instagram, or Facebook archive ZIPs.
Beta export creates a photo-aware DOCX or a Markdown ZIP. Imported Content Management can remove imported threads in one action.
