A new entry can be a sentence, an observation, a to-do list, a photograph, or a voice recording. Version 1.1 can autosave meaningful new entries, replies, quotes, and content shared from other apps as local drafts.

Each entry supports up to nine photos or Live Photos, one video, or one voice recording. Optional location and State of Mind can add context when the writer chooses them.

Search and the calendar help when you know what you want. Replies, quotes, the rediscovery feed, and Premium Your Trends help when you only know that an older thought matters again.

Home, Search, Analytics, and Premium Favorites form the four main destinations. The product keeps every path inside one private diary, with no followers, public profiles, likes, ads, or public discovery.

An on-device algorithm can suggest a nearby emotion while an entry is being composed. The suggestion changes nothing until the writer opens the State of Mind picker and confirms a value.

Emotion Trajectory uses only explicitly saved State of Mind values. Version 1.1 also makes DiaryThreads available on iPad and Mac with optional Premium private iCloud continuity.

Premium unlocks ordinary entries beyond the free 140-character allowance, file attachments, handwriting, every Topic, unlimited current entries, favorites, share posters, Your Trends, Thread Growth, three Home Screen widgets, private iCloud sync, and local-only Beta import and export. Free users can keep up to 30 current entries and write long-form Articles.

Import supports common documents, structured data, PDFs, and selected social archive exports without signing into those services. The Share Extension can hand text, a link, or up to nine images to the local draft inbox. Export creates a photo-aware DOCX or Markdown ZIP. Sharing and file export begin only after the diary owner chooses them.
